Nick Parker & The False Alarms

Sometimes folky, sometimes rocky, sometimes country-y, Glastonbury-based Nick Parker and his actually quite ruly cohorts The False Alarms never take themselves too seriously. With their tongues seldom far from their cheeks they romp around the stage with guitars, fiddle, mandolin, bass, drums and loads of vocals providing a beautifully shabby backdrop for Nick's astutely written songs. With strong melodies and hooks throughout, the songs are laden with clever lyrics which are as easy-to-relate-to as they are quirky. Over the last couple of years Nick - with or without the band - has played at festivals such as Chagstock, Farmer Phil's, 2000Trees, Glastonbury and Lakefest as well as many smaller festivals and spends nearly all his time touring around Europe where he is on the German record label Tonetoaster. When they are not doing their own shows, Nick and two of the False Alarms - Tom and Ben - make up half of Gaz Brookfield's Company of Thieves. "Lovely westcountry melody-and-energy-laced rockin' folkish stuff with a sense of humour and a hotline to your heart." - Bath Fringe

Gaz Brookfield is a solo acoustic musician based in Bristol.

Since winning Acoustic magazine's 2010 Singer Songwriter of the year, he has spent his time on the road, touring the UK and Europe. In this time he has shared the stage with the likes of The Levellers, New Model Army, Seth Lakeman, Frank Turner, The Wonder Stuff, Newton Faulkner and many more.

Gaz Brookfield photo

Gaz remains the only unsigned solo artist to sell out The Fleece, Bristol. A feat he has now achieved five times, the last three selling out over six months in advance.

This has made Gaz's annual Christmas shindig gig an unmissable tradition for his fans. In December 2017 Gaz took the decision to move up a venue size, to The Bierkeller, Bristol (750 cap.) and even this gig sold out 2 months in advance.

Often playing as many as 200 gigs a year, Gaz's relentless tour schedule takes him to every corner of the country and beyond. Upon the release of his latest studio album "I Know My Place", the subsequent tour sold out at nearly every venue, across the country.

A festival favourite, Gaz has played at over a hundred UK music festivals in the last few years, including Glastonbury, Beautiful Days, Bearded Theory, Boomtown and many more.

The Dusk Brothers

Using custom built guitars, percussive stomp-boxes and foot operated cymbals from their own workshop, combined with vocal harmonies and blues harp, with NO LOOPS OR SAMPLES - Dusk Brothers make a huge sound for only two men.
