Stone-carved Benches

As part of the 2016 Middlezoy Arts Festival, we created 3 benches to be placed around the village for use by the community.

​

First, the children from Middlezoy School made some designs featuring local wildlife, in a series of after school workshops.

​

Next, a group had tuition on how to carve stone, before undertaking the task of carving the actual bench supports.

​

Finally, the benches were installed in their final locations.

​

There are 3 benches, located in the Churchyard, along the footpath in Knowsyard Hill, and Windmill Hill.
