The wood carving group have been carving signs of the old names for various fields, droves and paths around the village and we will be installing them over the next few months. We have managed to find names for quite a few more like; Violet's Piece, Cornfields, Ira Meeker Lane, and Goldmine to name a few. I will try to add them to the footpath map at least but may be able to persuade someone to carve some more. We do need some funding to cover the costs though if anyone would like to contribute.
This lane is now known as Old Chapel Road.
