Wood carving classes start in January. The theme this time will be letter carving.
The 12 weeks will be split into two projects ; the first will be carving your house number and/or name, and the second will be carving old Middlezoy ‘lost’ road names that are planned to be placed close to the place they named.
Richard will be teaching two introductory tutored sessions so that you should have a good enough understanding to plan and draw out your house number and name, and to be able to carve them into wood. There will be a number of other tutored sessions later on to guide you through the second project.
The plan is to start on Wednesday 9th January in the Chapel, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Each session will be £5, with wood available at cost.
