At the last Committee Meeting, we discussed potential projects to make use of some timber we have been offered (from the old Burrowbridge school roof). We are planning on reclaiming it and making it into a useful condition, and then building outdoor furniture for the Middlezoy school with it. If anyone would like to get involved in this project can you let us know.
We are still in the pre-project phase, and initially we will need people for lifting, moving and sorting. As the project develops, we will need to recondition the wood to make it usable. Then we will need people for designing, cutting, assembly and installation. Hopefully we can get some of the school children/families involved as much as possible.
